3200 Wildwood Office Building, Atlanta, Georgia

3200 Wildwood consists of two 18-story office towers connected at Level One with a glass enclosed lobby area. The complex also includes an 8-story parking garage located partially below grade. All construction consisted of cast-in-place concrete utilizing a skip joist system for the office towers and a flat plate system for the parking garage. Reinforcing was a combination of post tensioning cables and regular mild steel reinforcing. Lateral loads are resisted by concrete shear walls. The buildings and parking garage are supported on caissons, and the parking garage below grade area resists lateral earth pressures with a caisson constructed retaining wall. This structure was completed in 1985.
