The Interface building, an adaptive re-use of a 1950s West Peachtree Street office building, resulted from a partnership between Interface Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of modular carpet, developer Parkside Properties, and design firm Perkins+Will.
Other partners critical to bringing this project to its successful completion were JLL (property manager); Integral Consulting Engineers (mechanical, electrical, plumbing); Bennett & Pless (structural); MSTSD (shell architect of record); Integra (GC core/shell); and Choate Construction Co. (GC interior), according to Perkins+Will Principal Bruce McEvoy.
