Structural Restoration Engineer

Diversification into new markets has created the need to expand our existing team in Atlanta, GA in support of this growth. Bennett & Pless is currently seeking a Structural Restoration Engineer

What You'd Be Expected to Do:

  • Participate in forensic and structural condition assessments and assisting in the collection of field data;

  • Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem solving

  • Work directly with Project Manager in the development of project design, calculations, and developing assessment reports including opinions of probable cost;

  • Prepare design documents including project drawings and specifications;

  • Assist in project coordination and meetings with internal and external team members;

  • Review project submittals and shop drawings as part of construction administration services;

  • Visit projects during construction to learn construction practices and to provide on-site construction observation.

  • This role may require occasional travel

What Gets You In The Door:

  • Bachelor’s degree in structural/civil engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred working in the structural restoration engineering

  • EIT status required (PE is a plus)

  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD

  • Proficient using MS Office suite
