One of the most important examples of that approach is our relationship with BPL Enclosure, our sister company specializing in building enclosure consulting.
Established in Atlanta in 2017 as BPL Facade Engineering, the firm initially focused on façade engineering and specialty enclosure systems for complex projects, including major sports venues, transportation facilities, and large-scale commercial developments.
In 2018, Bennett & Pless partnered with LEICHT, a Germany-based engineering firm known for its expertise in façade engineering and ETFE systems. That partnership strengthened the technical capabilities of what is now BPL Enclosure while creating new opportunities to support increasingly complex building projects. From the beginning, BPL Enclosure has operated alongside Bennett & Pless as a sister company, allowing both firms to focus on their areas of expertise while delivering coordinated solutions for project teams.
As client needs evolved, BPL Enclosure expanded beyond specialty façades into a full-service building enclosure consulting practice. Today, the firm provides enclosure consulting, commissioning, forensic investigations, condition assessments, field testing, roofing and waterproofing consulting, energy performance analysis, resiliency consulting, and construction administration.
Together, Bennett & Pless and BPL Enclosure offer complementary expertise that helps clients address both structural and building enclosure challenges. While Bennett & Pless delivers structural engineering solutions for advanced manufacturing, life sciences, data centers, healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial projects, BPL Enclosure focuses on the performance, durability, and long-term success of building enclosure systems.
